Attracting, selecting, and developing the "correct" individuals for any and all available jobs inside the company is what recruitment comprises. The selecting procedure is more formal since laws and regulations need consistency across the board. During the selection process, interviews are held to get further insight into a candidate beyond what was previously offered on the candidate's papers in order to make the best decision.

Great Article Bashitha! Recruitment & selection are two of the most important parts of modern HRM as it is how we fill up our vacant job roles & select the "Best fit" individual for the position, a half baked approach to this would mean decreased productivity & increased overhead costs in the long run. I personally think that a really structured recruitment & selection process could do wonders for any organization. Well done also for properly distinguishing between the two concepts.
